Kellie Martin is an American TV, film as well as stage actor. Her most notable role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) on the drama of the same name Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Her other roles of note include the lead role in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher, Martin started her career in acting at the young age of seven years old when her aunt who served as an nanny to actor Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing an appearance in the series of 1982 'Father Murphy'. After her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed significant roles both on the small and the big screen. Apart from being an actor, Martin is a skilled photographer and ballet dancer. Two-time mother, she's the official spokesperson for Lupus and is constantly raising awareness about the condition after her sister passed away at around 19 years old.
